An important mission in life is to cultivate our personal spirituality. This is not simply being “good” or “sinless”, but rather having a living relationship with God through Christ. One aspect is to develop a conscious appreciation of our connection with all people, with all creation, and with God, and to recognize our special role as partners in God’s project of salvation. Spirituality is not simply making ourselves holy, but developing reverence for the holiness of life and orienting our lives toward others and the sanctification of the world. This quest takes a lifetime and is nurtured by various forms of prayer and reflection.
